Led Zeppelin is a "vinyl" band
I guess Led Zep is one of those bands that is strongly associated with an old good vinyl rock n' roll format. It's the whole tradition about it: when you open the disc envelope, see the cool band pics and lyrics, take the disc out, put it on, listen. I can't imagine myself downloading it or even buying a CD. It's like a CD of Elvis. It's as unnatural as a non-alcoholic beer or decaffeinated coffee. Led Zep was first released in vinyl, first fans got it in vinyl, they made rock n' roll history in vinyl. So it has to stay vinyl IMHO.

I just love the music. I don't consider myself a music purist or anything like that. I grew up on KISS on vinyl, Van Halen on vinyl as well as Ted Nugent, AC/DC, etc. But I never had a problem jumping to cassettes and CDs. I still have my vinyl collection, but love the portability of CDs and now MP3s.
I completely understand why you would feel that Led Zep will always be a vinyl band. For those of us who are old enough to remember saving their allowance to buy a record the nostalgia alone is worth arguing this point. But, I think that if Led Zep had continued as a band they would be right there with Aerosmith, KISS, Rolling Stones and all the other classic rock bands that have survived. And part of that survival is adaptation.
But... that's just my opinon. =)
Like your vibes -- just checked out your site, listened to some sounds -- has a certain Eno-like quality (but perhaps more tech/indie/upbeat). I like "chill" more than "speed"...
